I love love love David Gordon Green the young, adventurous filmmaker behind George Washington, All the Real Girls, Undertow and Snow Angels. And I’m glad that he found some strange mainstream success as the helmer of a Judd Apatow stoner-comedy, especially after the heartache which must have come after making a film as good as Snow Angels and seeing its release fall on its ass with the demise of Warner Indepedent.
